Rezi Odomero is forced to return to his hometown of Nova Falls after his father falls sick. He’d never planned on coming back, especially not after he’d gotten turned into one of the very monsters his old man has always despised.

Mikhail has spent more than half his life being taught control under his adopted father’s roof. When his father entrusts him with a very important mission in Nova Falls, he knows this is the perfect time to prove himself.

The last thing Mikhail needs is the attention of anyone in town, least of all the mysterious stranger he keeps “bumping” into at the waterfall, and the last thing Rezi needs is a literal stranger almost immediately sussing out his supernatural secret.

Despite their best efforts, with baddies attracted to town and Rezi and Mikhail constantly shoved in each other’s path, it sure seems like the very universe wants them to be together. And who are they to say no?
